Boucher
Named Director Of Golf At Lake Of Isles
North Stonington, Conn., Nov. 21, 2011 – Lake of Isles announced today that
Patrick Boucher has been promoted to Director of Golf. Boucher has been the head professional of the
North Course at Lake of Isles since 2008.
“Patrick has done an outstanding job running the North
Course for the past three years,” said Archie Cart, general manager, Lake of
Isles. “His managerial skills combined with his knowledge of the golf business
are strong assets to our facility. He has the full support of the staff and the
Lake of Isles membership in his new role.”
Boucher, 32, has been a Class A member of the PGA since
2007. He started at Lake of Isles in 2006 as an associate golf professional and
was promoted to head golf professional of the North Course in 2008. Prior to
Lake of Isles he worked as an assistant golf professional at Wampanoag Country
Club and Pautipaug Country Club. He is chairman of the Daniel A. Boucher
Memorial Scholarship Fund established in memory of his father who was also a Class
A member of the Connecticut Section PGA. Boucher is very active in the PGA
section, serving on the growth of the game committee and also playing and
attending several section PGA events annually.
In Boucher’s new position as Director of
Golf, he will oversee the North and South Course operations, manage the golf
staff, outing business, and the award winning golf shop.
