Mini Schools

The program includes three hours of instruction covering full swing and short game, and lunch in Matches Tavern. Minimum class size is two people. 18 holes of self play on the award winning North Course may be added to this program.

Cost: $170.00 per person - instruction and lunch only
Cost: $295.00 per person - instruction, lunch and golf

Play with a Pro - Have an instructor join your group for the round of golf. Your Instructor will guide you around the course helping you with course management, shot selection, trouble shots, green reading and show you how to take what you learned on the range in the morning and put it immediately into play.

Price - additional $500.00 per group.

Custom Golf Schools

Troon Golf Academy will work with you to design a program to meet your specific needs. Programs may include any mix of range and course instruction and can be designed to match the experience level of any player.

Every Custom Golf School is limited to maximum teacher to student ratio of 1:2 with instructional time strictly devoted to you, your ability level and your game improvement.

Whether you are a beginner or avid golfer, our Troon Golf Certified Instructional Staff will formulate a comprehensive game plan for your improvement. Our staff is fully equipped to help you in all aspects of the game including 3D swing analysis, video swing analysis, full swing, pitching, chipping, putting, sand play, on course management and an action plan for continued improvement.

Two Day Golf School

The two-day programs are perfect for any player interested in improving their fundamentals. The instruction will focus on full swing and all areas of the short game. 8:30 am start and 2:30 pm finish.

Two Day Playing School

Specifically designed for the better player who is looking for ways to lower their score through improved course management, improved shot selection and overcoming the unique challenges presented during a round of golf. Day one includes five hours of instruction with day two consisting of an 18 hole course lesson. 8:30 am start and 2:30 pm finish.

Ladies Golf Weekend

This very popular program is lead by Head Teaching Professional Sue Cart, and is designed specifically to meet the unique challenges ladies face in playing the game. Class size is limited to five students to each Instructor to ensure maximum one on one time and thus improvement.

Each day has a morning session and afternoon session.

Price - $130 per session. All four sessions - $420. (Sat and Sun)

- Lunch at Matches Tavern may be added to any class for $20 per person.

Session I
Saturday, 8:30 am to 11:30 am - Chipping and Putting Class
The class will begin with a short game evaluation to determine your strengths and weaknesses in both putting and chip shots within 20 yards of the green. Based on the results of your evaluation you will work through a personalized improvement program with your instructor.

Session II
Saturday, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Pitching and Full Swing
This class will focus on distance control with the lofted clubs inside 60 yards as well as full swing fundamentals.

Session III
Sunday, 8:30 am to 11:30 am - Maximizing Distance
If you want to hit the ball further then this is the class for you. The class will start with some simple exercises specifically designed to improve your strength, flexibility and golf swing. Your Instructor will then work with you to correct any power leaks in your golf swing, starting with the irons and moving up to the woods.

Session IV
Sunday, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Take it to the Course
After a warm up and some work on a pre-shot routine on the range, your time will be spent on the course working on course strategy, club selection and course management. On course you will work on playing from uneven lies, hole management, green reading and club selection. You will also be provided with a round analysis chart so you can monitor your progress and determine the areas of your game that require improvement.
