The committee will meet approximately four times per year to discuss planning, themes, logistics, and execution, ensuring that each event is thoughtfully organized and aligns with the club’s commitment to excellence and member engagement.Handicap CommitteeThe Handicap Committee is a vital body established by the golf club to uphold the integrity and fairness of competitive play. Its primary responsibility is to ensure that all members adhere to the club’s obligations under the official Rules of Handicapping, including the essential practice of peer review. The committee actively monitors score posting to guarantee that every member records their scores accurately and consistently. This process is crucial in maintaining equitable handicaps across the membership, thereby fostering a level playing field for all participants in tournament and casual play alike. By promoting transparency and accountability, the Handicap Committee helps preserve the spirit of fair competition and enhances the overall golfing experience at the club. Advisory Committee Welcome Club Advisory BoardThe Club Advisory Board serves as a vital link between the membership and club management, ensuring the continued success, excellence, and member satisfaction of LOI. Comprised of a diverse group of dedicated members, the Advisory Board provides strategic guidance, feedback, and insight on key areas of club operations, including golf, dining, social activities, facilities, and overall member experience. While the Advisory Board does not have formal governance or decision-making authority, its role is to collaborate with club leadership—offering recommendations and representing the collective voice of the membership. Board members are expected to serve as ambassadors of the club’s values, culture, and standards, while also upholding confidentiality and a constructive, solutions-oriented approach.
