
Cody has over a decade of experience in the Turfgrass industry, primarily working at prestigious private clubs. While in college, he was employed at the Valentine Turfgrass Research Facility at Penn State University, where he collaborated closely with professors on a range of trials evaluating the effects of new pesticides on various Turfgrass species. He also completed an internship at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, where he contributed to the successful hosting of the 2013 AT&T National Championship, hosted by Tiger Woods.
Following his graduation, Cody rapidly advanced to the position of Assistant Superintendent at Shelter Harbor Golf Club in Charlestown, Rhode Island, where he remained until 2021 before joining the team at Lake of Isles. Since the fall of 2022, Cody has served as the Director of Agronomy at Lake of Isles.
Cody is a Class A member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Turfgrass Science from Penn State University. He has also volunteered at numerous PGA tournaments, U.S. Amateur events, and the 100th PGA Championship at Bellerive Country Club.
